"Get Your Plate in Shape" during March

National Nutrition Month National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created by the American Dietetic Association, and celebrated annually in March. The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.  Visit the Eatright.org website for info on this year's theme - " Get Your Plate in Shape."

As a Health and Wellness educator who loves to share ideas on living a healthy and safe life, National Nutrition Month is the perfect time to focus my efforts on educating people on nutrition and proactive health!  For 30 years I have been very passionate about it and will be sharing some of what our family has done and is doing to make it happen.

My husband loved coming home last night to a fresh chicken/apple and curry salad. In fact he wanted it in his lunch today when he left to teach. All fresh with lots of good fruits, vegies and hormone free chicken breast.  It's always been important to our family what is on our plate and to make sure that we are giving our cells what they need to help keep this amazing creation going.   So keep tuned!!

( I guess I'd better run my miles now on the treadmill!!)
