CHILDREN don't have a choice. We have to make the changes in our purchases.

From CNN to Dr. OZ, the articles keep coming out about the toxins in our homes. What will it take for every home to STOP purchasing their comfortable cleaners and laundry products because they like the smell or because that's what they've always used. THE CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE. They trust you.
My friend Cindy wrote on her FB " I went to the grocery store last night and walked down the household products aisle, which I usually avoid. Fragrances assaulted me, and I knew I was walking down a lane a 'chemical soup'... I watched a child in a cart pick up a bottle of Fabreeze saying to his mom "this makes our couch smell good". We live in a modern, but troubling world -- our family's health is being assaulted by things we take for granted. Knowledge is power and it's time to Get Clean !"

Everyday chemicals may be harming kids, panel told
www.cnn.com
Of the 84,000 chemicals on the market today -- many of which are in objects that people come into contact with every day -- only about 1 percent of them have been studied for safety, Sen. Frank Lautenberg said Tuesday.

Personally, the best way is to get a big trash bag and just go through the house and get rid of all the nasties. Put in the garage and find where to properly dispose of them. Replace them with SAFE, GREEN, SMART ( for your wallet) and ones that still do the job of cleaning. If you can't do it all at once, then start with the basics and then replace as you run out of stuff. But do it for your family, and it will be helping your wallet and the earth as well.

Ahhh. That felt good. Please pass this on to your friends. Especially ones who have children with asthma and allergies and constant colds and ear infections. I care.
